In Sierra Entertainment's video game The Hobbit, Goblin Soldiers make up the bulk of the orcish armies of the Misty Mountains.
These orcs use scimitars, arming swords, tower shields, and bows in combat.
Preferring to shoot at Bilbo Baggins from afar, these goblins are faster faster if less acrobatic than their fellows.
They are first seen in the Dreamworld and later in Riddles in the Dark, A Warm Welcome, and The Clouds Burst.
In-game there is a unique Goblin Soldier named Ugslap - he guards the gate to the deep tunnels of Goblin Town.
