Glóin (TA 2136 - TA 2385) was a dwarf, the son of Thorin I and King of Durin's Folk.
Glóin had one son Óin.
Biography

He along with his father left the Lonely Mountain (Erebor) for Grey Mountains (Ered Mithrin) in TA 2210, which became the kingdom of the dwarves for many years afterward. Glóin became king after his father died in TA 2289. Glóin was succeeded after his death by his son Óin. He was yet another dwarven ancestor of Balin, friend to Bilbo Baggins and Gimli, Elf-Friend of the Fellowship.
