Gamil Zirak was a Dwarvish smith, who was the master of Telchar of Nogrod in the early First Age. Gamil was a great craftsman, whose work was found in the treasuries of Elu Thingol. He was commonly referred to as "the old".

EtymologyEdit

"Zirak" is a Khazad word, appearing in Zirakzigil also. But the meaning of Gamil's name isn't specified.
