Entrance to Thorin's Gate

A view of Thorin's Gate, as seen in The Lord of the Rings Online

Thorin's Gate was a region in the Blue Mountains where the city of Thorin's Halls was located. Before the War of the Ring, the region was home to Dwarves of the Dourhands and Durin's Folk but also some Elves who where still residing in the ruins of the ancient settlement known as Refuge of Edhelion.

The location is non-canonical, as it does not appear in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. It appears only in The Lord of the Rings Online and in Liquid Entertainment's 2003 video game War of the Ring, where it is located in the Iron Hills.
