Brian Sergent (born December 29, 1959) is a New Zealand actor who portrayed Ted Sandyman in the extended edition of The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) and voiced one of the Mirkwood Spiders in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013). Sergent is also known for working with Peter Jackson in Meet the Feebles (with Mark Hadlow and Peter Vere-Jones) and Braindead (with Jed Brophy).
