Estë (Quenya; IPA: [ˈeste]) was a Valier, "the healer of hurts and of weariness".
Biography
Grey is Estë's raiment, and rest her gift. She is the wife of Irmo, and lives with him in his Gardens of Lorien in Valinor. She sleeps during the day on the island named after her (The Isle of Estë) in the lake Lorellin in Valinor.[1]
Etymology
Estë was a Quenya word that meant 'rest'.
