Esmeralda Took (TA 2936) was the mother of Meriadoc Brandybuck or Merry.

She was the daughter of Adalgrim Took and had four other siblings. One of her brothers was Paladin Took II, the father of Peregrin Took. She married Saradoc Brandybuck.
