Peter Jackson's The Two TowersEdit
In the year 3019 of the Third Age, Erethón served as a lieutenant of the Galadhrim during the War of the Ring. At Lord Elrond's request, he was one of Haldir's Elf-host that arrived to Helm's Deep in aiding the Rohirrim and their King Théoden against Saruman's army. He was stationed on the Deeping Wall where he stood beside Berembor and Celebrílad, looking onwards at the arrival of 10,000 Uruk-hai that were marching towards the fortress. Erethón fought as long and hard against the Uruk-hai infantry. It is unknown if Erethón survived the Battle of Helm's Deep. If so, it is possible that he went to the Undying Lands in the West or stayed in Middle-earth during the early years of the Fourth Age. His fate is not known.
- Erethón is played by Alexander Lindsay.
- He does not appear in any of the books.
- He is featured in the Decipher Trading card game.
