- This article is on the ninth King of Arnor. For the eldest son of Isildur see: Elendur.
Elendur of Arnor was a Dúnedain of the North and the ninth King of Arnor.
Biography
Elendur was the son of Valandur, who succeeded his father as King of Arnor for one hundred and twenty-five years. He was perhaps named for Isildur's eldest son, who also bore the name Elendur. He died in TA 777 and his son Eärendur, who would be the last of Arnor's Kings, succeeded him.
Events of his reign are not exactly known but it was probably a peaceful one.[2]
