Physical description
Eldalótë was the wife of Angrod, the second son of Finarfin. She was also grandmother of Gil-galad and Finduilas.

She was a Noldorin elf probably born in Valinor and were she married Angrod and had one son named Orodreth. Orodreth escaped to Nargothrond, when his father was slained in Dagor Bragollach (Battle of Sudden Flame)
She did not return to Middle-earth with her husband and probably still lives in Valinor in Aman.
Eldalótë Morëinion Eldalótë-Orchaldor) was also the name of a Gondorian nobleman that lived in Pelargir.
Etymology

Eldalótë was a Quenyan word that meant 'Elf Flower'. Edhellos (also spelled Eðellos) is the Sindarin translation of her name.
