Year ascended to the throne
Elboron was the son of Faramir and Éowyn.
Elboron might have been born sometime after the War of the Ring. He succeeded his father Faramir as Prince of Ithilien and the Steward of Gondor, after the death of his father in FO 82.
It is possible that Elboron was the father of Barahir, the grandson of Faramir and author of The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen.
Other versions of the legendariumEdit
The name Elboron was once given to the son of Dior. In addition, the sons of Elrond were called "Elboron and Elbereth".
