Elboron was the son of Faramir and Eowyn, and succeeded his father as Prince of Ithilien and the Steward of Gondor after the death of his father in FO 82. It is possible that Elboron was the father of Barahir, the grandson of Faramir and author of The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen.
