Ekkaia

Ekkaia a.k.a. Outer Ocean, the Outer Sea, and the Encircling Sea is the ocean that completely surrounded Arda, at least until the "removal of Valinor from the 'circles of the world'."

It bordered the Belegaer at the Helcaraxë up until the Second Age of the Sun. Presumably, it then was split up into the four major oceans we know today.
