East Lórien

East Lórien was the name of the realm east of Lórien founded by Celeborn after the War of the Ring.

East Lórien comprised of southern Mirkwood including Dol Guldur with the land of the Beornings and the Woodmen on its northern border, and the lands of the Reunited Kingdom to its south.

After the cleansing and purification of Dol Guldur by Galadriel, Celeborn claimed a large area east of Lórien. After the departure of Celeborn, many people from Lórien moved into it leaving Lórien with few of its former inhabitants.
