Duilin was the son of Duinhir and the brother of Derufin. Duilin and Derufin came with their father and five hundred bowmen from the uplands of Morthond to help defend Minas Tirith during the Siege of Gondor in the War of the Ring.[1] During the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, they led their bowmen to shoot at the eyes of the great mûmakil of the Haradrim, and were trampled to death.[2]
