Peter Jackson's The Fellowship of the RingEdit

Saruman sent Gandalf flying into the wall and after dropping him to the ground. Gandalf retaliated and knocked Saruman back with his staff. The two wizards exchanged blows back and forth between each other until Saruman overpowered the Grey wizard by taking his staff.

Saruman then arrested Gandalf and sent him flying towards the top of Orthanc and imprisoning him at the Pinnacle of Orthanc. Saruman then started building his war machines and upgrading Isengard to full military power.
