Dol Baran is a hill lying between Isengard and the Gap of Rohan. It was the place where Rohirrim had made a camp and Pippin looked into the Palantír of Orthanc (a different location than in the 3rd Film), and also where a Fellbeast was seen flying, ridden by a Ringwraith.

In LOTROEdit

It's only other appearance is in The Lord of the Rings Online, where it is a site of skirmish between Rohirrim and Dunlending forces.
