Biography
Edit
Diamond became the wife of Thain Peregrin Took in the FO 6 (SR 1427). She is possibly one of the North-Tooks, descended from Bandobras Took (aka Bullroarer Took). She had one son Faramir, named for a Steward of Gondor (see Faramir). Her date of death is not known, but some people assume Diamond probably died sometime before the year FO 63 when Pippin left the Shire to live in Gondor.
Portrayal in adaptations
Edit
Diamond was portrayed by Emma Deakin in the film adaptation of The Return of the King.
