Dervorin was the son of the Lord of Ringlo Vale.

He assisted in the War of the Ring by giving three hundred men to protect the city of Minas Tirith while being besieged by the armies of Mordor. He came on foot into Minas Tirith unlike most others, who came on horseback. Pippin and Bergil saw Dervorin come in along with all the other lords who aided Minas Tirith. However, Dervorin, as well as all the other lords, came with too few men to ensure a real victory for Gondor. It is possible that he survived the battles he fought in, as he is mentioned in the Mounds of Mundberg.
