David Wenham is an Australian actor who played the role of Faramir in Peter Jackson's The Two Towers and The Return of the King. Originally, Orlando Bloom auditioned for the part of Faramir but Peter Jackson thought Orlando would be perfect for the role of Legolas. David is one of the actors who voiced their character in the Return of the King video game. In an interview he said that he enjoyed the game.

David Wenham says he enjoyed doing the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He auditioned for the part because Faramir is the Captain of Gondor, a great swordsman, archer and thinker.

The Two Towers

In the video game The Two Towers David Wenham didn't get to voice his character along with a few other actors.

Furthermore, he rather liked wearing the fancy armor in The Two Towers and the Return of the King.
