Dúnhere was a Man of Rohan and the Lord of Harrowdale in the Ered Nimrais .
Dúnhere was a captain of riders that met King Théoden when he arrived at the Harrowdale after the Battle of the Hornburg. He was also present in the King's pavilion at Dunharrow in a council concerning the Muster of Rohan. He was killed in Gondor at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, as were many heroes.
