The Caves of the Forgotten was a place in Aman where Ar-Pharazôn and his great army are imprisoned.
History
The caves were formed when Ilúvatar caused the hills of the Calacirya to fall on the army of Ar-Pharazôn, after the king and his followers broke the Ban of the Valar by invading Aman. It is here that they remain until the end of the world when they are prophesized to arise during the Last Battle, Dagor Dagorath or the Final Battle.[1]
