Carl (NIbs) Cotton, born in SR 1389 was the youngest of the five children of Tolman Cotton Sr. and Lily (née Brown) Cotton.
History

Carl had three older brothers; Tolman (Tom) Jr., Wilcome (Jolly), and Bowman (Nick) along with his dad fought in the Battle of Bywater. Being the youngest, he was exempt from the battle.
His older sister, Rose (Rosie) married Samwise Gamgee, a good family friend.
