Thorondor bearing Fingolfin's body

The Cairn of Fingolfin was the place of the tomb of Fingolfin, a High King of the Ñoldor, on a high mountaintop in the northern Echoriad.[1]

History[]

After the burial of his father, Turgon set a high cairn over the grave. No enemy dared to pass over the mountain or defile the tomb until the time of the Fall of Gondolin.[2]
