"Brother" Theodore Gottlieb (born 11 November 1906 Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, German Empire - died 5 April 2001 New York City, New York, USA) was an German-American monologuist and comedian.
He did the voice for Gollum in both animated versions of the The Hobbit and the Return of the King.

Brother Theodore was born into a wealthy Jewish family during the German Empire. Years later he and his family suffered greatly during the rule of the Nazis. He was imprisoned and was only able to leave if he signed over his entire family's fortune which he did.
