(Redirected from Bridge of Khazad-dum)
The Bridge of Khazad-dûm runs over Khazad-dûm in Moria. The Bridge was originally designed by the Dwarves as a choke point to force invading enemies to concentrate in one area, thus allowing for much easier kills. The Fellowship crossed the bridge and it was destroyed in a fight between Gandalf and a Balrog. Gandalf strikes the bridge with his staff and it cracks at the Balrog's feet. The Balrog falls into the abyss and drags Gandalf with him. The rest of the bridge then falls into the chasm.
