Borthand was the son of Bór, possibly the youngest of his three sons.
History

Borthand fought with the Union of Maedhros at the Nirnaeth Arnoediad (Battle of Unnumbered Tears) and like his father and two brothers remained loyal to the Sons of Fëanor, unlike those of Ulfang who betrayed them. He was slain fighting against the traitors.[1][2]
