Bagshot Row, where Bag End is located, is a street in Hobbiton. It is where Bilbo Baggins, Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee call home.

Before the War of the RingEdit

Bagshot Row was built into Hobbiton Hill where there were a few trees including the famous Party Tree in the Party Field where Bilbo held his 111th Birthday Party in September TA 3001.

After the War of the RingEdit

Proceeding on a plan of industrialization of the the Shire, Lotho had Bagshot Row dug-up and used as a stone quarry destroying peoples homes. A few important trees including the Party Tree in the Party Field were also gone. All of which were done by Sharkey’s Men on the orders of Lotho under Saruman.

After the Scouring of the Shire when peace was restored, the Hobbits delved new homes in a street known as the New Row. Trees were also replanted including a Mallorn given by Galadriel and planted by Sam in the place where the Party Tree stood.
