Aragorn I
Biographical information
Physical description
Aragorn I (TA 2227 - TA 2327)[1] was the fifth Chieftain of the Dúnedain.
When the North Kingdom of the Dúnedain was destroyed by the Witch-king of Angmar in TA 1974, the heirs to this kingdom were then called Dúnedain chieftains and there were sixteen of them. There is little known about Aragorn I only that he was the fifth chieftain and was slain by wolves in Eriador in TA 2327.[1] Aragorn II, later Elessar, first king of the Reunited Kingdom, was named after his forefather.
He served as chieftain for only eight years and was succeeded by his son Araglas.
