Angus Dunn is a New Zealand actor who played an Elf in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Dunn worked with legendary New Zealand actor Hamish Bevin, who plays a man of Lake-town. Both Angus Dunn and Hamish Bevin drew on their experience as Logistics Officers in the Army Reserve to build their characters.
In 2013 he married his longtime life partner Josh Holden under the supervision of Roger Joe.
