History
Edit
Angelica was born in TA 2981 (SR 1381). She was the daughter of Ponto Baggins II and the grand-niece of Bilbo Baggins, and the granddaughter of Gilly Brownlock. Angelica was young at the time of Bilbo's Farewell Birthday Party and was noted for her vanity and considered her face to be quite shapely. She received a round convex mirror from her uncle Bilbo after the Birthday Party. She apparently never married.
Etymology
Edit
Like many Female hobbits, Angelica was named after flower or a jewel.
Portrayal in Adaptations
Edit
Video Games
Edit
In The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (video game), she was seen around Bywater and was sad to see that Frodo was leaving. Ironically, she claimed his visit was taking him "practically to the end of the world" (thinking he was going to Crickhollow) unaware of how correct her comment was.
Her she was played by Kath Soucie.
