Allan Curless (1950 - 1997) was an illustrator who contributed to two of David Day's Middle-earth books. He is predominantly known for being an artist for the publications of the famed Redwall series (in which he drew the icons for each of the books' chapters) and contributing to books about animals in general.

He was educated at the Gloucestershire College of Art and Design in England.
