The One Wiki to Rule Them All
This page concerns the real world.
This article is about a video game. For the White Council itself, see White Council.

The Lord of the Rings: The White Council was a planned role-playing video game based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Like a previous RTS, The Battle for Middle-earth II, The White Council was to have been based both on the books and Peter Jackson's films.

Using the working title Project Gray Company, the game was slated for release in 2007, but on February 2, 2007, EA announced that the game would be postponed indefinitely. In the meantime, EA worked with Pandemic Games to create The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, which was released in 2009. The White Council was planned to be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
